Video: Virender Sehwag sings 'Tu Jaane Na' and sends the next ball into stands
The Warne Warriors won the third T20 of the All-Star league, defeating the Sachin Blasters on the penultimate ball of the match. The captain Shane Warne hit Virender Sehwag for a six to complete the clean sweep for his team.
However, when Sehwag was on the other end while opening the batting for Blasters’, he was in his usual carefree mood. Singing songs while batting is something which has become a trademark for the Nawab of Nazafgarh. In the 2nd match of the All-Stars T20 league, the flamboyant opener was heard singing a famous Kishore Kumar song while batting.
In the third and final T20 of the league, Sehwag walked out with Sachin to open the innings. The famous duo added 55 runs for the first wicket before the former fell to Courtney Walsh. Though, during his 27-runs inning, Sehwag was again spotted singing a song, this time an Atif Aslam one.
What makes it better is that the swashbuckling batsman instantly hit the next ball for a six over mid-wicket with just a flick off his pads. The incident happened on the last ball of the third over which Alan ‘The White Lightning’ Donald was bowling. Sehwag was wired up as he was talking to the commentators and that was how everyone spotted him singing.
Here’s a video of the batsman singing and then sending the next ball into the stands.
