Virender Sehwag trolls Umar Akmal on Twitter on his 'talent' and his immaturity

Umar Akmal frequently posts selfies and other pictures of himself in weird positions, Virender Sehwag had something to say about it

There is a new sensation in cricket these days – Virender Sehwag wielding a keyboard instead of a bat. He has taken Twitter by storm in recent times with his comedic tweets, and as can be seen from how frequently he sends out personalised tweets for cricketers, he has taken this new role seriously.

Many cricketers have faced the wicked humour of Sehwag, and Pakistan reject Umar Akmal is the latest in an increasing list. The 26-year-old Akmal is also a regular tweeter, but his tweets are mostly pictures of himself in various poses. With one of his poses being mocked by Sehwag, he might think twice before making such posts again.

The tweet can be read as a taunt at Akmal’s immaturity as well as his ‘talent’ with the bat, which despite having shown early promise, is not considered good enough for him to make the national side any more.

A few other recent tweets from Umar Akmal:

Sehwag’s tweet was not well received by fans of the Pakistan team, who were quick to jump on the theme of the two teams’ rivalry and remind Sehwag of a certain Junaid Khan delivery that had bowled him through the gate in the last year of his career.
