Virender Sehwag wishes Australian legend Dennis Lillee in hilarious fashion
Virender Sehwag in his usual swagger wished another cricketer in a bizarre manner. This time, Sir Dennis Lillee was in line to face Sehwag. The former Indian batsman has been a raging sensation on Twitter as he continues to wish cricketers in his unique way.
Dennis Lillee is known for his fearsome bowling, as on one occasion, he literally demolished the entire World XI by taking eight wickets for only 29 runs. The fast bowler took a total of 355 wickets in 70 international Test matches while taking 103 wickets in 63 ODI matches. He was feared because of his exterior and aggressiveness while bowling. He also took 882 wickets in just 198 First Class matches.
Sehwag has also been famous for tweeting and making fun of fellow cricketers, especially sharing friendly banter with Shoaib Akhtar. His tweets are as hard as his batting and they sting probably as much.
He recently trolled Pakistani fans when he tweeted about India facing Pakistan in the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy. His tweet read: “Wow! Just 1 year remaining for #IndVPak. Request brothers frm Pak to plz not break ur TV sets#HaarJeetLagiRehtiHai”

The former Indian batsman even took time out to wish MS Dhoni, even though it was reported that Sehwag and Dhoni shared a frosty relationship. He continued the trend of wishing his fellow on his birthday too and called his birthday as the ‘national helicopter day’!
Fans seem to enjoy his brash and outspoken demeanor as he is not known to fear anything in this world. During his playing days while on a tour of Sri Lanka in 2008, only Sehwag managed to dominate the mystery spinner Ajantha Mendes.

So naturally, being the outspoken player he is, he said: Bhaisaab, spinner ko spinner batsmen banata hein! Agar use aap ball spin hi naa karne do, aur pehli hi over me use bahar pheink do, who zindagi bhar spin nahi karenga!” [A spinner is made by batsmen. If the batsman does not allow the ball to spin and throw him out of the ground, he will not spin the ball all his life!]
All we hope is to see Sehwag take on the world with his humourous tweets and entertain us each and every day! One thing is certain, the next birthday boy needs to be ready to face Sehwag’s tweets!
