Bangladesh pace sensation Mustafizur Rahman, who won the Emerging Player of the tournament award in the IPL 2016, received a thunderous welcome when he reached his home in Satkhira, which is a district in south-western Bangladesh and is a part of Khulna Division. The 20-year-old impressed everyone with his skills in the IPL 2016 and he also helped his side Sunrisers Hyderabad win the coveted title this season.
Ever since the young bowler has burst on to the international scene, he has been thoroughly impressive for whichever side he played and has seen his reputation another lift by performing exceedingly well in the recently concluded cash-rich league.
When he went to his homeland, cricket-frenzy supporters gave him a warm welcome. Here is the video that was put up on Facebook.
Mustafizur, who picked up 17 wickets this season, had an outstanding economy rate of 6.90 which is a testament to his incredible ability to keep the batsmen quiet. Cutters, yorkers, slower ones- the left-arm seamer possesses all the tricks in his armoury and is capable of bamboozling any batsmen with them. Connoisseurs have praised the abilities of this youngster and he is giving them no reason to complain with his string of consistent performances.
Since making his debut last year, Mustafizur has played 2 Tests, 9 ODIs and 13 T20Is for Bangladesh and has 52 wickets in his kitty across the three formats. Sunrisers Hyderabad hugely benefitted from his services as he dished out magnificent performances game after game.

The young left-arm seamer, who is known for his deceptive ‘cutters’, became only the second bowler after Brian Vitori to take five-wicket hauls in his first two ODIs, paving the way for Bangladesh's first-ever ODI series win over India.
Mustafizur made his first-class debut for Khulna in the 2013-14 season and, after taking eight wickets in the U-19 World Cup in the UAE, he was surprisingly picked for Bangladesh A's tour of West Indies.
Since then, he has never looked back.
