Ravichandran Ashwin has been in the thick go the things so far in this year's IPL. He started off a huge debate ever since he dismissed Rajasthan Royals' Jos Buttler in Kings XI Punjab's very first game of the season.

The incident triggered many discussions as the cricketing world was divided over this type of dismissal. While some members of the cricket fraternity vouched for Ashwin saying that it was within the rules of the game, others felt that mankading is not in the 'spirit of the game.'

Nearly four weeks after the Buttler's mankading gave Punjab their first win of the season, the Kings XI Punjab skipper was once again at it. After Ashwin's attempt to mankad Dhawan failed, the southpaw teased the off-spinner when he came to bowl the next ball.

The incident occurred in the 13th over of the second innings of the 37th match of this year's IPL. Shikhar Dhawan, who reached his half-century in the previous over, was at the non-striker's end when Ashwin tried to mankad him.

Dhawan was well within the crease and did not give Ashwin any chance to dismiss him. As Ashwin came back to continue the over, the Delhi batsman decided to have some fun. After ensuring that his bat is well inside the crease, Dhawan danced at the non-striker end in an attempt to distract Ashwin. Watch the video here.

Coming to the game, after winning the toss, the Delhi Capitals got a good start as they dismissed KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, and David Miller cheaply. Even with the wickets falling at the other end, Chris Gayle kept Punjab in the game by scoring 69 runs off just 37 balls.

Once, the Universe Boss got out in the 13th over of the first innings, Delhi Capitals pulled things back to restrict the visitors to 163 in 20 overs.

During the chase, Delhi lost Prithvi Shaw at the start of the fourth over but Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer did not allow KXIP to take control of the game. The duo added 94 runs for the second wicket and made the chase easy.

After Dhawan's dismissal in the 14th over, Delhi lost Rishabh Pant, Colin Ingram, and Axar Patel cheaply but Shreyas Iyer's unbeaten half-century took his side home with 2 balls to spare.
