[WATCH] Virat Kohli dismissed cheaply by Jason Behrendorff after successful review in MI vs RCB IPL 2023 clash
There were to be no heroics from the bat of Virat Kohli as the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star was dismissed for a solitary run by Jason Behrendorff in the IPL 2023 clash against Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Opening the innings, the right-handed batter stepped out looking to whip a length delivery on the off stump across the line off the fifth ball of the first over of the innings. The extra bounce saw him get a thick edge that was pouched by wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan, although it wasn't given out on the park.
MI skipper Rohit Sharma wasted no time in reviewing it, with his teammates also extremely confident that there was a noise. UltraEdge confirmed the same to send the India and RCB superstar back into the hut.

Australian seamer Behrendorff was recalled to the playing XI as MI opted to field first upon winning the toss.
Upon striking the big blow of Kohli, he then proceeded to remove Anuj Rawat, whose attempted scoop shot came apart in the third over.
Skipper Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell then launched a counter-attack to put RCB back in the hunt, with Behrendorff also not spared in his third over.
At the time of writing, the Challengers are 45/2 in five overs, seeking to post a big total on what looks like a belter of a surface.
