The memorable moment unfolded after England secured an eight-wicket victory in the third and final match of the series. Following the game, Stokes and pacer Mark Wood had a lighthearted time during Sky Sports' post-match show with Hussain and Atherton.

Wood took control of the mic while Stokes handled the camera and could be heard giving instructions to both the pacer and the presenters.

England made history in 2022 by becoming the first team to achieve a clean sweep against Pakistan in a Test series on their home soil. They won the first match by 74 runs, with Ollie Robinson earning the Player of the Match award for his five wickets and 37 runs.

The second match was a closely contested affair. Chasing a target of 355 runs, Saud Shakeel scored 94 runs, but the hosts were bowled out for 328, losing by 26 runs. Mark Wood played a key role, taking four wickets in the fourth innings.

In the final match, the visitors secured an impressive victory by eight wickets. Chasing a target of 167 runs, Ben Duckett scored an unbeaten 82, helping England clinch a historic Test series win in Pakistan.


Ben Stokes will miss the first Test against Pakistan

England are back in Pakistan for another thrilling tour, with a three-match Test series kicking off on Monday, October 7, at the Multan Cricket Stadium. The second Test will also be held at this venue, starting on October 15, while the series finale is scheduled for October 24 in Rawalpindi.

The England team has announced its playing XI for the first Test, with Ben Stokes sidelined as he recovers from a hamstring injury sustained during The Hundred while running a single. He also missed the recent three-match Test home series against Sri Lanka, which England won 2-1, with Ollie Pope taking over as captain in his absence.

Pope will continue as captain in Stokes' absence as England seeks another unforgettable tour in Pakistan.
