Watson replaces Khawaja in Australia ODI squad
Melbourne - Cricket Australia brought in all-rounder Shane Watson replacing opening batsman Usman Khawaja in the 13-player squad Monday for the third and fourth One-Day Internationals (ODI) against the West Indies in Canberra and Sydney, respectively.
“Shane Watson comes back into the squad for the series against West Indies as an opening batsman. Shane has recovered from his injury and we look forward to seeing him get back to his best. He has replaced Usman Khawaja,” national selector John Inverarity said.
The two ODIs will be played Feb 6 and Feb 8.
