The English cricket team is scheduled to tour the West Indies between January and March 2019. The tour will start with three-match Test series. A five-match ODI series will follow with matches in Barbados, Grenada and St Lucia before the tour is concluded with three T20I matches.
There will also be three tour matches, two before the start of the test series and one before the ODI series. It will be England’s first tour to West Indies to play all the three formats of international since they visited in 2009.
This ODI series will be very important for both the teams as it will help them gauge their preparation for the upcoming World Cup. England’s previous Test series in the Caribbean finished 1-1 after the West Indies leveled the series in Barbados following England’s win in Grenada.
This tour is very important for the West Indies board because of the number of traveling supporters it can bring, which will eventually help the board financially.

England has announced their squad for the Test and ODI series. West Indies haven’t announced their squad so far. The players in the England ODI squad will be looking forward to giving a great performance and cementing their position for the upcoming World Cup squad.
