What we can expect from the 3rd T20

South Africa v India - T20 International
The Proteas have made the series exciting

The hosts made a superb comeback in the 2nd T20 and levelled the series 1-1 making the 3rd and the final T20 in Cape Town this Saturday all the more exciting. The visitors had a tough outing at the Super Sports Park as none of the top order batsmen clicked and bowlers disappointed with the ball as well.

The hosts did quite well to chase a formidable total of 189 with the help of a massive partnership between Klaasen and Duminy, and they'll be high on confidence moving to the series decider at the Newlands.

The last time these two teams met at this venue, it turned out to be a one-sided affair with the likes of Virat Kohli playing a sublime innings of 160 and the Indian spinners dominating the proceedings, picking up 4 wickets each.

Here is what we can expect from the 3rd T20:

#1 Pitch

BBL - Renegades v Sixers

The track in Newlands is generally on the slower side unlike the tracks in the high veld, and as the game progresses, shot making won't be easy as the ball will hold onto the wicket. It is not the kind of track where the batsman can hit through the line as they did in the high veld. Colossal hits won't be a familiar sight. Variation of pace will make things difficult for the batsman and the spinners should have the upper hand.
