Who said What after India's victory over Zimbabwe in 3rd ODI

Zimbabwe No.11 Donald Tiripano somehow fends away a delivery from Yuzvendra Chahal

India rampaged to a 10-wicket win the 3rd and final ODI of their 3-match series against Zimbabwe, with KL Rahul and Faiz Fazal posting unbeaten half-centuries. They chased down the measly target of 124 in only the 22nd over.

Earlier Jasprit Bumrah and the spinners had again been at the top of their game, bringing about yet another middle order collapse from the home team, who saw their score being reduced from 104/3 and a chance of a fighting total to one final loss of gigantic proportions in the series.

Here is what was said at the post-match presentation ceremony:

Graeme Cremer: "We had to see through the new ball. 250-260 was a par total on this wicket. We got through the new ball, but couldn't rotate strike and it made it difficult for the guys coming in. We have a T20 squad in my mind. We know we can be dangerous on our and we will pick ourselves up. Nothing much will change regarding the wickets. Lets see how the curator goes."

MS Dhoni: "We executed really well in the tournament. You always plan against the opposition, but it is executing that is important. The fast bowlers and spinners took wickets at crucial times. I don't mind winning games easily; few more batters could have got opportunities. After a long time I am getting break. Spend some time with the family and take time off cricket."

The Man of the Match as well as Man of the Series KL Rahul, who has enjoyed a tremendous series by virtue of being the opener, said, "I always knew that I had the skill to do well in all the formats. I got an opportunity with RCB and by doing well I got a call up for the Indian squad. Lot of credit to the bowlers on how they have bowled. They allowed me to go out there and take time before playing my natural game. Once I go there and see the red ball swinging around; I will see how difficult it is. The T20 series is the next thing on my mind."

Yuzvendra Chahal, who has been one of the best young performers of the series, said "There was a bit of pressure initially, but things settled down after that. The wickets were a touch slow, and the outfield was big, so that helped."

What was slightly bizarre, Chahal was named the Player of the Series, while KL Rahul was named Man of the Series.
