Warne’s Warriors defeated Sachin’s Blasters by 57 runs in the 2nd T20 match of the Cricket All-Stars series held at Houston to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match series. Led by Kumar Sangakkara’s knock of 70 from 30 balls, Warne’s Warriors amassed a mammoth 262 runs in their 20 overs – a total Sachin’s Blasters fell short off despite Pollock’s 22-ball 55.

“I have had a word with Sachin Tendulkar on the possibility of the All-Stars series in Pakistan one day. Sachin was happy and expressed willingness to materialise this idea. “This series should go to India and Pakistan to act as a bridge between the two neighbouring countries. It’s about time that Pakistan and India should move forward and play cricket against each other, it will help in bridging the gap between the neighbours.”
