One of the most amazing sights in a cricket field is a wicket-keeper effecting a stumping. Stumping involves co-ordination from the bowler and the man behind the stumps. Since the wicket-keeper has gather the ball cleanly and whip off the bails before the batsmen reaches his ground, the whole process has to take place in a fraction of a second. Hence, standing up to the stumps requires immense concentration and subtle reflexes.

Even though more than 252 wicket-keepers have represented different countries in ODIs, only six of them have managed to effect three or more stumpings in an ODI without taking a catch. In chronological order, let us take a look at the seven instances when wicket-keepers effected three stumpings in a single ODI without pouching even a single catch.
#1 Saleem Yousuf - Pakistan vs New Zealand in Lahore (1990)
Saleem Yousuf made his ODI debut for Pakistan in 1982 and served his country till 1990, representing them in 86 ODIs. He had the tough job of keeping wickets to the likes of Abdul Qadir, Saleem Malik and Mushtaq Ahmed but he did his job to perfection.
In the first ODI of the bilateral series against New Zealand at Lahore on 2nd November 1990, he effected 3 stumpings of Ian Smith, Chris Pringle and Mark Priest. All of them came off the bowling of Saleem Malik who picked up 5 wickets to help Pakistan win the game by 19 runs.
