World Cup 2019: British PM May welcomes England cricket team after World Cup win
British Prime Minister Theresa May welcomed the England cricket team to No. 10 Downing Street on Monday, a day after their 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup triumph.
England on Sunday ended its agonising 44-year wait to be world champion of the sport it invented, beating New Zealand in a stomach-churning final.
The victorious team posed with a beaming May outside her official residence.
She laughed and joked with the cricketers, as she lifted the trophy with captain Eoin Morgan, before leading everyone inside the building.
