Sri Lanka captain Dimuth Karunaratne spoke ahead of his side's final group match against India at the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup at Headingley, Leeds in Friday.
"The Lions" cannot reach the semi-final stage of the competition, but will aim to end their World Cup campaign on a high against an India side who have already secured their place in the last four.
Sri Lanka will rue their two washed-out matches from earlier in the tournament because, even if they win their final match and reach 10 points, they would still not progress to the semi-finals - as their total of four wins would remain below those victories accrued by Australia, India, New Zealand and hosts England.
