Notorious social media influencer and serial pitch invader Daniel Jarvis aka Jarvo was apprehended by the security authorities on 8 October. Following this event, ICC has banned Jarvo from attending further matches in the World Cup tournament. With this another controversy has emerged in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 whereas, pakistani presenter covering the Cricket World Cup in India has left the country after a backlash over alleged "derogatory" posts on social media.
