You can't be playing cricket at two o'clock! - Coulter-Nile
Nathan Coulter-Nile feels a change to IPL playing conditions could be required after Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in an eliminator that finished in the early hours of the morning.
Rain forced a lengthy delay to Wednesday's match in Bangalore, after the Sunrisers had posted 128-7 from their 20 overs.
KKR were eventually left with a revised target of 48 from six overs and made it home at 01:27 local time.
Reflecting on the late finish in a subsequent interview, Kolkata all-rounder Coulter-Nile said: "It sort of looked like they [the umpires] didn't want to play. And I think there was so much time.
"I mean, what is it, two o'clock? I think rules probably need to be looked at, you can't be playing cricket at two o' clock."
KKR will now face Mumbai Indians on Friday, with the winner going through to Sunday's final against Rising Pune Supergiant.
Glad on the winning side tonite. But play offs need to have an extra day in case of an abandoned match. Ami KKR onwards with @GautamGambhir
