Yuvraj and Zaheer dropped from Test squad

The BCCI has made a few changes from the squad for the earlier test matches in reply to the huge public outcry after two straight losses at home.

Struggling middle-order batsman Yuvraj Singh was left out and three-time triple century scorer Ravindra Jadeja was picked in his place.

Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who seems to have lost his mojo with the ball, has been dropped, and U.P. leggie Piyush Chawla has been announced as his replacement.

There was more shocking news for Indian Cricket supporters, as veteran Zaheer Khan was not picked, and in his place, a young prospect in the form of Parwinder Awana has found a place in the team.

But it does not seem that Awana and Chawla will be in the line-up, as Ashok Dinda could be in line for a possible test debut. There could be a bit of toss-up between Rahane and Jadeja for the No. 6 slot.
