Yuvraj Singh finally adds IPL to his trophy list, Twitter celebrates
Indian Premier League 2016 concluded on Sunday with a cracking final in which Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 8 runs to win their maiden title. David Warner, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ben Cutting put in stellar performances to crush Virat Kohli’s dream of taking his team to an IPL title. Another man, who had been longing for this title, got his wish granted – Yuvraj Singh.
The southpaw, who smashed 38 off 23 balls on Sunday night, finally managed to add an IPL trophy to his already impressive repertoire, bringing joy to thousands of his fans throughout the country, who celebrated with him on social media. Singh received adulation and congratulatory messages from a lot of people on Twitter, including sportspersons, commentators, fans and friends.

Indian badminton superstar Saina Nehwal expressed her happiness on Yuvraj winning IPL and congratulated him.

Actor and IPL host Gaurav Kapur, who is a close friend of Yuvraj Singh, was ecstatic after seeing his mate lift that one trophy that eluded him and was quick to post a celebratory tweet.

Yuvraj Singh, in terms of achievements, is right up there with the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli. In fact, he became the only man to have won the U-19 World Cup, World T20, Champions Trophy, ODI World Cup and IPL. Commentator and analyst Harsha Bhogale highlighted the same and acknowledged the completion of his trophy cabinet.
