Zimbabwe vs India: 1st ODI - India choose to bowl, Rayudu and Unadkat make debut

Ambati Rayudu

In the first ODI between India and Zimbabwe, India have won the toss and Virat Kohli, who is leading the team today in his first series as a full-time skipper, has elected to bowl first as the conditions in Harare are expected to be tough to bat earlier.

Ambati Rayudu will be making his debut today after he was given the Indian cap, playing ahead of the likes of Rahane and Pujara, with the latter yet to make his debut. From being banned by BCCI for playing in ICL, Rayadu would be delighted to have made it to the national side.

Alongside the Hyderabad batsman, left-arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat from Gujarat is also making his debut in this game.

For Zimbabwe, Sikandar Raza, the Pakistan-born batsman was included in the side.
