WWE 2K15 : Openly gay wrestler joins roster

WWE 2K15 seems to expand on its roster by the day as more and  more wrestlers are getting confirmed to join it. Darren Young has now joined John Cena, Hulk Hogan, Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt, Cesaro, Naomi and AJ Lee in the officially confirmed WWE 2K15 roster up until now. Numerous other media have pointed out that Daniel Bryan and Cameron are in the game too as their character models were spotted in the E3 previews.
 

Young when in prime time players


Darren has been in the news earlier for being the first wrestler to openly admitting his sexuallity and coming out of the closet while still in contract with the agency. His admission resulted in wide-spread acclaim in the media, as well as great appreciation by the WWE fraternity.

Rosser, as he is also known, was supported by the WWE as they released a statement in support of him being open about his sexuality. He also received support from John Cena whose brother is also gay, in the form of tweets. Young had also revealed that he used to stutter when he was young and this made him nervous in front of other people.

The media applauds his ‘coming out’

Earlier WWE hall of famer Patt Petterson had announced that he was gay, but only after retirement.Even Orlando Jordan accepted being bisexual after leaving the company.Anyway, Paul Heyman has now been confirmed as a manager who was added to the roster and for commentary, Michael Cole and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler are the confirmed additions to the roster.

There were speculations that the Sting is set to join the roster with his teaser but it won’t be before Monday that we’ll know for sure if the tease was related to the game. Here’s what you can expect from the game.
