5 worst drop spots in Broken Moon in Apex Legends Season 23
Every map in Apex Legends has good and bad drop locations. One of the game's newest reworked maps, Broken Moon, is not an exception. Some of its POIs have significant amounts of loot, while others don’t have enough. Since you must find gear as soon as you land on a POI, the loot needs to be good. Otherwise, you will be at a disadvantage in a fight.
This article lists the five worst drop locations that you should avoid at all costs in Apex Legends Season 23.

5 drop locations that players should avoid in Apex Legends Season 23
1) Space Port
Space Port is one of the POIs that you should avoid in Apex Legends' Broken Moon. It's a new location that Respawn Entertainment introduced with the release of the reworked map. While it's a new POI, the loot it possesses is mediocre.
While you and your teammates can get some decent gear here, such as guns and backpacks, they are usually not worth it quality-wise. Moreover, if you are unlucky, your team may end up not getting enough healing items, such as Shield Batteries, Cells, and Med Kits, and may lead to a fight.

2) Cliff Side
Cliff Side is another new location in Broken Moon. The POI boasts two pyramid-like structures with semi-decent loot, as well as two buildings and a couple of loot pills. For a team of three, however, the amount of loot this area has is low.
If you are playing Ranked, we recommend you choose some other POI as your drop location, as you may end up handicapping your whole team in terms of loot if you land here.
3) Experimental Labs
Experimental Labs is another POI that you should avoid in Apex Legends Season 23. It is one of the tiniest locations in Broken Moon and features two decently sized buildings with three small ones. This means the amount of loot is also limited.
Since it's on the edge of the map and not big enough, many players tend to drop here just to avoid fights right after landing.
4) Breaker Wharf
If you have played the original Broken Moon, you will know about Breaker Wharf. It used to be a decently sized POI. However, with the Broken Moon rework, it replaced Backup Atmostation. While you may think the POI is massive and will have a good amount of loot, you will likely change your mind when you land here.
Although Breaker Wharf is spacious, the amount of loot it holds is subpar. The ground loot is negligible, while the loot pills have a low chance of spawning good loot. However, the area is located near Eternal Gardens and Alpha Base, both of which possess an exceptional amount of high-tier loot.

5) Underpass
Right outside of Production Yard, Underpass used to be a no-name location with worthless loot. Recently, Respawn Entertainment added a couple of small buildings to it and declared it a POI, even though it does not have enough loot for a team of three.
Since there are better POIs nearby, such as Cultivation, Production Yard, and The Foundry, you are better off going to these locations as you are guaranteed to get good loot there.
