5 of the worst drop spots in Kings Canyon in Apex Legends Season 23 listed
Kings Canyon is a historic map because it is the original Apex Legends map. Its re-release in Season 23 is bound to attract players but many new players may not know which drop locations to actively avoid.
While you may be able to learn about the POIs through experience in the long run, this list can give you a general idea of the worst drop spots in Kings Canyon in Apex Legends Season 23, starting off with Hydro Tunnel.
1) Hydro Tunnel
Hydro Tunnel, between Cage and Hydro Dam, is small, somewhat cramped, and doesn't provide you with good loot. Running into enemies here right after dropping could prove bothersome due to the closed space. All in all, Hydro Tunnel is just not worth the risk, it's best to go to the dam instead or better yet, Repulsor.
2) Artillery Underpass
Artillery Underpass is a small tunnel from Artillery to the Watchtower North. If you're trying to land in this area, avoid the tunnel at all costs. It's easy for enemies to hide and catch you unprepared as you land here. Furthermore, the loot you find here is rather basic, so going to Artillery Battery is just a better move.
3) East Settlement
East Settlement can be seen as a small group of buildings right between Market and Caustic Treatment. It's one of the worst drop spots in Kings Canyon in Apex Legends Season 23 not only because of the low to basic tier loot but also due to the illusion of security it gives. While it may appear safe, enemies can be hiding anywhere in the buildings, and suddenly running into them can result in skirmishes when you're still unprepared or unarmed.
4) Caves
Caves is another undesirable drop spot in Kings Canyon in Apex Legends Season 23. It's a network of caves connecting Cage Crossing and River Center. While these two areas offer different tiers of loot, Caves doesn't provide that benefit. Yet again, it's closed up in many regions and can expose you to multiple attacks in a small space. It's much better to just land in River Center but be prepared to put up a fight for the loot there.
5) Suspended Skull
Suspended Skull features a broken Leviathan skull with several ziplines to ease traveling. The loot here is quite underwhelming and doesn't help you get quality equipment quickly. You may not get attacked very quickly here. However, that may be because most experienced players would avoid landing here in the first place. This makes it one of the worst drop spots in Kings Canyon in Apex Legends Season 23.
These are five of the worst drop spots in Kings Canyon in Apex Legends Season 23. The map is part of the Launch Royale game mode that came with the new update.
