A Thousand Blazing Suns in Genshin Impact: Materials, leaked stats, and best characters to use with

Pyro Archon Mavuika is speculated to be released as a playable character in Genshin Impact 5.3. Although HoYoverse has not posted her drip marketing yet, leaks have already started surfacing, which share information about her possible kit, weapons, as well as in-game animations and playstyle. The latest leaks from leaker HomDGCat have disclosed detailed information regarding Mavuika's weapon, a 5-star Claymore.

Mavuika has been seen using a Claymore to fight in multiple cutscenes during the Natlan Archon Quest, so it makes sense that her playable version will also wield a similar weapon. A Thousand Blazing Suns stats, effects, and materials in Genshin Impact

Credible leaker HomDGCat has shared information regarding Mavuika's signature weapon, which is supposedly a 5-star Claymore called A Thousand Blazing Suns. These are its stats and effects, according to the leak:

Base ATK: 741
Secondary stat: 11.0% CRIT Rate

While the weapon has a rather low CRIT Rate as its secondary stat, it makes up for it with its very high base ATK. Additionally, it also has the following passive:

"Sunset Reignites the Dawn: When the user unleashes an Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst, they gain Sacred Flame's Blessing, which increases CRIT DMG by 24% / 30% / 36% / 42% / 48% and ATK by 32% / 40% / 48% / 56% / 64% for a total of 6 seconds. This effect can be triggered once every 10 seconds. When Sacred Flame's Blessing is active, dealing Normal ATK or Charged ATK DMG extends the duration of the Blessing by 2 seconds. This extension can occur once every second, up to a maximum extension of 6 seconds. In addition, the effects and buffs provided by Sacred Flame's Blessing will increase by 50% when the character is in the Nightsoul's Blessing state. The duration of the Sacred Flame's Blessing will not decrease or disappear even if the character goes off-field."

The Sacred Flame's Blessing effect of A Thousand Blazing Suns provides a good amount of CRIT Dmg and ATK buffs, which can technically benefit any Claymore user. However, the 50% additional damage of said effect can be utilized only by Natlan characters who can enter the Nightsoul's Blessing state.

Best characters for A Thousand Blazing Suns in Genshin Impact

Since A Thousand Blazing Suns has a high Base ATK and a CRIT Rate secondary stat, coupled with general ATK and CRIT DMG buffing passives, it will work best on DPS Claymore users, such as the following:

1) Mavuika

Since this is Mavuika's signature weapon, it is, by default, best suited for her. Mavuika can take full advantage of all the buffs this Claymore has to provide, including the extra damage dealt during Nightsoul's Blessing clause. Moreover, the buffs don't disappear even when the character goes off-field, meaning that you can also use Mavuika as a quick-swap DPS unit if you choose to. For the most part, A Thousand Blazing Suns is the best weapon choice for an on-field DPS Mavuika.

2) Kinich

As another Claymore wielder from Natlan, Kinich can also make use of the extra damage dealt while in Nightsoul's Blessing buff. A Thousand Blazing Suns has really high base ATK and a CRIT Rate secondary stat, which will also be very useful for Kinich. Apart from Mavuika, he is the only other character who can make perfect use of this 5-star Claymore. After Kinich's own signature weapon, this will be his new second-best-in-slot weapon.

3) Diluc

Diluc is a 5-star Claymore user who can benefit from all the various buffs A Thousand Blazing Suns has to offer. Of course, since he is not from Natlan, he will not be able to trigger the Nightsoul's Blessing extra damage buff. But even without it, the other stats and effects of the weapon are good enough for Diluc to wield it in battle.

4) Navia

Another Claymore user who can utilize most of the buffs from A Thousand Blazing Suns is Navia. She is a main DPS who can also be played as a quick-swap DPS; this synergizes perfectly with the Claymore, as its buffs are retained even when the user goes off-field. However, Navia won't benefit from the extra damage boost from Nightsoul's Blessing.
