Dropping in 2025 by Bethesda Softworks, this game is essentially a prequel to Doom 2016, and throws a light into the aged past of the legendary Doom Slayer battling Hell's forces in a gritty medieval world.

Following the end of Doom Eternal's DLC in 2021, the team began production in 2022 and officially announced the game in June 2024. Dark ages might deliver the action, exploring new narrative depths and character development in the AAA scene. Funcom clearly took lessons from Conan Exiles and is implementing what they learned in Dune: Awakening. The character creation is stunningly detailed, and the RPG systems that would allow fully fleshed-out skill trees and craftables are just as high quality. Dodging a Shai-Hulud (sandworm) or escaping a massive sandstorm looks incredible! Plus, with hidden pockets of life in Frank Herbert's novels, players can explore, build bases in shady spots and battle hostile creatures in caves. To that effect, the crafting is fairly deep and allows you to pick your home planet and traits.

If you're a massive fan of survival games, Dune: Awakening can be a great addition to your upcoming AAA games library list. The beta gameplay trailer seems upright, and the game is set to release in early 2025.

Here they'll embody two protagonists: Naoe, a skilled female shinobi, and Yasuke, an African samurai whose historical background will add substantial depth to the story.

Shadows drops on 14th February 2025, and Ubisoft promises a new experience in the line of AAA games while disposing of the myths of traditional tales but pays respect to its heritage.
