All announcements at Xbox Partner Preview 2024

The Xbox Partner Preview 2024 had some neat surprises in store, including fresh trailers for announced games and brand-new announcements. While AAA behemoths like GTA or Call of Duty were nowhere to be seen, debut reveals from smaller third-party publishers were still delightful to watch. There is much to see from Alan Wake 2's Lake House DLC to new entries in iconic franchises.

Every game revealed at Xbox Partner Preview 2024

Alan Wake 2 Lake House DLC

The second DLC expansion for last year's acclaimed third-person horror game Alan Wake 2 aims to further connect the Alan Wake universe with that of Control, the other iconic Remedy Entertainment occult game. This time, players will control FBC Agent Kiran Estevez who steps into the underground FBC facility in Bright Falls only to be met with a new type of horror never seen before.

The Lake House will be playable by owners of the Deluxe Edition after it launches on October 22, 2024, for Xbox and PC.

After the success of the Silent Hill 2 remake, Polish developer Bloober Team has set its sights on something even bigger. Premiering at Xbox Partner Preview, Cronos: The New Dawn is a heart-pounding third-person survival horror shooter that pits players against deadly enemies while telling a grisly time-travel tale.

It is set to release sometime in 2025 for Xbox and PC.


Blindfire

Experience multiplayer FPS in a new way thanks to Blindfire, the upcoming game from the recent Red Dead Redemption port developer Double Eleven. In stark contrast to other genre examples on the market, this game takes place in darkness only illuminated by flashy neon lighting, which should make for a unique gameplay experience.

The game is currently available in Early Access.


Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii

The Like A Dragon series returns to its real-time Yakuza roots with Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii which got a brand new trailer. Step into the boots of Goro Majima who must rise to the top with his pirate squad across the land and seas to defeat Queen Michelle and Pirate King Raymond Law of Madlantis, using new naval combat shown at the event.

The game has been pushed early, releasing on February 21, 2025, for Xbox and PC.


Mouse P.I. For Hire

Inspired by 1920s Disney cartoons, Mouse P.I. For Hire is a retro FPS game bound to appeal to fans of classics like Wolfenstein 3D and DOOM. Control private investigator Jack Pepper on an action-packed adventure to decimate armed gangs and mobsters.

It is set for release sometime in 2025 for Xbox and PC.

A brand-new alien underwater journey is on the horizon with Subnautica 2. Announced at the Xbox Partner Preview, developer Unknown Worlds Entertainment only showcased a cinematic trailer, leading to the announcement of an early access launch. However, new screenshots have been made available to the public.

PC and Xbox fans will have to wait until 2025 to get their hands on the early access version.

In a brand-new trailer narrated by YouTuber Videogamedunkey, Animal Well is confirmed to be coming to Xbox. Explore a mysterious labyrinth with weird animals and uncover its secrets in this challenging 2D Metroidvania sidescroller.

The game is available today on Xbox Series X|S platforms.


Edens Zero

As announced at Xbox Partner Preview, Edens Zero is getting a new game, and this action RPG experience will follow the events of the manga. Control different characters from the anime, such as Shiki and Rebecca in this over-the-top, action-packed drama.

Published by Konami, it is set to arrive sometime in 2025 for PC and Xbox.


Eternal Strands

The action RPG Eternal Strands also gets a fresh trailer at the event, showcasing how the various elemental powers like Fire, Ice, and more can impact the gameplay and environment. This should make for a dynamic open-world third-person experience that will bring something new to the table.

Developed and published by Yellow Brick Games, it will launch in 2025 for PC and Xbox.


Mistfall Hunter

Mistfall Hunter is an upcoming PvP/PvE extraction RPG set in a world where the gods battle one another. With corruption sweeping the land, players must embark on a quest to battle these threats and gather loot to become more powerful thanks to different builds, skills, and classes.

As shown in Xbox Partner Preview, it will launch in 2025 for PC and Xbox.

It arrives on October 29, 2024, for the Xbox Series X|S


The Legend of Baboo

Set on a mystical island, control Sepehr and his fluffy dog Baboo as the duo set out to save their family from an ancient evil. This third-person action-adventure game will see players control the duo as they fight in hack & slash combat and explore dungeons to eliminate demonic threats.

The Legend of Baboo arrives in 2025 for PC and Xbox.

Taking place during the Ming Dynasty, battle monstrous threats using powerful magic abilities in this new Chinese action RPG which also received a fresh trailer at the Xbox Partner Preview event. As the titular Wuchang, players must travel the land battling evil by upgrading their gear, learning new skills, and taking on challenging bosses,

It launches in 2025 for Xbox and PC as well as Xbox Game Pass.


FBC Firebreak

Remedy Entertainment debuts its much anticipated multiplayer game at the Xbox Partner Preview with FBC Firebreak. This three-player co-op third-person shooter is set in the Control universe, as the team tackles anomalies and threats in the Federal Bureau of Control.

It also arrives sometime in 2025 for Xbox and PC.
