This article covers everything you need to know about fertilizers in Farming Simulator 25.
All available fertilizers in Farming Simulator 25 and how to use them
There are six types of fertilizers available in Farming Simulator 25. These are:
Solid Fertilizer
Solid Fertilizer can be applied using a fertilizer spreader and provides an instant boost to your crops. It's perfect for a quick crop growth boost and is one of the most common ones you can buy in the game.
Given you will need to use a spreader, Solid Fertilizer in Farming Simulator 25 is the cheapest one to buy early in the game, especially when you're low on funds. You can buy them as either Bigbag Pallets or as individual Bigbags in the shop.
Liquid Fertilizer
Liquid Fertilizer is applied using a sprayer instead of spreaders. Use them when you need a precise application for certain crops in Farming Simulator 25. You can buy liquid fertilizers as tanks in the Pallet section of the shop.
Slurry
Slurry is a type of fertilizer you can obtain by mixing cow and pig dung with water. Any excrement your livestock produces will be stored in a tank. You can add water to it to create a Slurry, which can then be dispersed on your field by attaching the tank to a tractor.
Manure
Similarly to Slurry, Manure is also produced by the excrement of your animals in Farming Simulator 25. But in addition to mixing water with cow and pig dung, you will need to use straw bedding to obtain manure. You can use this type of fertilizer with the manure spreader.
Digestate
You can obtain Digestate by selling manure or silage at the biogas plant. Like Slurry, you can apply this using a slurry tanker as a fertilizer for your crops.
Catch Crops
Using Catch Crops is another simple method to fertilize your fields. You can begin the process by planting Oilseed Radishes which you cannot harvest. Then, you can cultivate them to fertilize the soil and plant your regular crops.
