Ambessa's abilities and playstyle explained
Passive (Drakehound’s Step)
Upon casting any ability, Ambessa will dash forward after the completion of the Ability when a move or Attack order is issued. Furthermore, casting an ability grants her a charge that enhances her attack range and speed. Each attack consumes a charge, resulting in increased damage and the restoration of Energy.
Q (Cunning Sweep/Sundering Slam)
Using the Cunning Sweep ability makes Ambessa propel her blades in a semi-circular motion, inflicting additional damage upon foes positioned at the edge. Upon striking an enemy, this action prepares Sundering Slam for use.
If you recast the ability (Sundering Slam), she slams down her blades and deals bonus damage to the first enemy hit.
W (Repudiation)
After using the Repudiation ability, Ambessa obtains a shield and braces herself before slamming the ground. If she manages to brace damage from an enemy champion, structure, or large monsters, she can deal more damage with subsequent slams.
E (Lacerate)
With this ability, Ambessa whips her chains in a circle to damage and briefly slow enemies. If she uses Drakehound’s Step (Passive), it will trigger an extra strike.
R (Public Execution)
Passive: Ambessa obtains armor penetration and her abilities heal her.
Active: She becomes "Unstoppable" and blinks toward the farthest enemy champion in a straight line. Also, she suppresses the enemy target before slamming them for damage along with a Stun.
