Annual Madden NFL 15 predicts the winner of Super Bowl XLIX

Madden NFL 15

Gamers get to experience a bit more of the yearly Super Bowl with the annual Madden NFL simulation game. EA Games have been running the simulation of the Super Bowl since 2004 using the latest game in the Madden NFL series. So far they have run 11 simulations of which 8 winners have been predicted correctly. The simulation has only been incorrect 3 times in 2008,2011 and 2014. But if the simulation is anything to go by, then the New England Patriots may just win the Super Bowl XLIX.

The big game this Sunday will see the New England Patriots face off against the Seattle Seahawks. So the simulation game in Madden NFL 15 also had these two teams pitted against each other. The simulation provides a computer-generated description of the game, which showed that The Seahawks had the lead for most of the game, scoring 24 to 14. The Patriots then made a comeback with a last second touchdown by player Julian Edelman. The game ended with The Patriots scoring a 28 to 24 victory.

Of course, all of this is just a prediction and the actual game might turn out differently. The description of the simulation will definitely not be similar to this Sunday’s game. But with NFL simulation accuracy over the years, it’s still quite likely that their prediction will be accurate this time around too. So it’s probably a good time to place some bets with a group of friends.

The annual Madden NFL simulation allows AI controlled teams to face off against each other and decides the outcome from there. Madden NFL 15 is available now for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Check out the simulation video below:
