What is Battle Assist in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero
Battle Assist in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is one of the crucial settings that can turn the tide of a fight. It automatically performs several actions and helps you to manage critical situations. There are seven options under Battle Assist and each has its own benefits. Hence, we have described each of these options and how it works in-game below:

Combo Assist:
It automatically corrects combo attacks amid a fight, making it easier to execute even the difficult ones.
Follow-Up Attack Assist:
This will automatically trigger Dash or Teleport after performing a combo. However, you must press the attack button to execute it.
Dragon Dash Assist:
As the name suggests, it automatically performs Dragon Dash by using Ki.
Dragon Dash Attack Assist
Like Dragon Dash Assist, it automatically performs Dragon Dash Attack when you are very close to the opponent.
Guard Assist
This assist helps you to block frontal attacks from enemies.
Recovery Assist
Recovery Assist helps you to recover after being hit by an enemy and knocked down on the ground.
Revenge Counter Assist
Revenge Counter Assist automatically performs the Revenger Counter attack when you are hit by the enemy’s Rush attack.
To better understand the Battle Assist setting, let's see what happens when tuning it in different modes: On, Semi-auto, Custom, and Off.
As mentioned, by default the game sets Battle Assist to Semi-Auto. In this preset, Guard and Recovery are turned on. This simply implies that it will automatically block frontal attacks from enemies and recover you after being hit by the enemy and falling to the ground.

However, turning on the Battle Assist in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero permits all the above options. There are certain drawbacks to this which can disrupt your gameplay. For instance, activating Battle Assist automatically enables the Dragon Dash.
Now the downside of it is that it consumes your entire Ki bar. If it triggers when you don't want it to, it can ruin your game plan. On the other hand, turning it to Custom can be beneficial as you can easily customize it according to your preferences.
