Genshin Impact has released a new weapon called the Fruitful Hook. It is a limited 4-star Claymore and can be obtained from the Weapon Event Wishes. Fruitful Hook is an amazing new weapon made specifically for DPS characters who can deal a good Plunging Attack DMG. Luckily, there are a couple of characters who specialize in the Plunging Attack playstyle and can deal a great amount of damage.

Passive	The wielder's Plunging Attack CRIT Rate increases by 16/20/24/28/32%. After the Plunging Attack hits an opponent, the wielder's Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack DMG will be increased by 16/20/24/28/32% for 10s.

Fruitful Hook is an amazing weapon that is specifically made for the Plunging Attack playstyle. The Claymore gives a significant ATK% boost from its second stat and provides Plunging ATK CRIT Rate and DMG bonuses from its passive. This makes it a good option for nearly every Claymore user as long as they are paired with Xianyun or if one knows how to perform Dragon Strike.

Fruitful Hook is tailor-made for Gaming thanks to his unique playstyle and you can use the weapon with him even without Xianyun. However, Diluc, Noelle, and Kaveh, or any other Claymore DPS unit for that matter, will need Xianyun in their teams to be able to jump high and perform the Plunging Attack.

Overall, Diluc and Gaming are the best Claymore characters for the Plunging Attack playstyle. That said, unless you've unlocked Gaming's C6, the Darknight Hero of Mondstadt will usually be the better damage dealer since he has the highest Plunging Attack DMG multiplier in the game.

How to obtain Fruitful Hook

Fruitful Hook will be featured on the weapon banner during the second phase of version 5.1. Note that it is a limited 4-star weapon so it is not known when it will get a drop-rate boost next time.
