Best characters for Long Road Leads Home in Honkai Star Rail, as per leaks
The community is eager for Honkai Star Rail Version 2.7’s release as Fugue, a fan-favorite character, will finally make her debut. Fugue is a 5-star unit, and her signature Light Cone will also be released in Version 2.7. This will allow players to use their Stellar Jades or Star Rail Special Passes to roll for it.
Further, Fugue treads on the Nihility path and the Long Road Leads Home Light Cone will only be usable by the units following the same.
Having said that, since this 5-star Light Cone can be used by any Nihility unit, players may be curious about the characters who can also use it to its full potential.
Note: This article is based on leaks and is subject to change with the release of Honkai Star Rail version 2.7. Readers are advised to take each speculation mentioned here with a grain of salt.
Unique ability and best characters for Long Road Leads Home in Honkai Star Rail
The unique ability of Long Road Leads Home in Honkai Star Rail that the Nihility characters can use are:
- Rebirth: When equipped by a Nihility character, their Break Effect gets a whopping 60% boost. After an adversary gets inflicted with the Weakness Break status effect, they get afflicted with the “Charring” effect. This unique effect boosts the Break Effect damage received by that enemy by 20% for two turns.
The best units that can use this the Long Road Leads Home Light Cone to its maximum potential in Honkai Star Rail are:
Fugue
As per the Honkai Star Rail 2.7 leaks, Long Road Leads Home will likely be released as Fugue’s signature Light Cone. As most Trailblazers might know, the 5-star signature LCs are usually tailor-made, considering how their abilities work for the respective character. This means that Fugue is definitely the best unit for it.
As a Nihility character, Fugue excels in buffing her allies’ damage and boosting their Break Effect simultaneously. The passive 60% BE bestowed by the Light Cone will be excellent for this Foxian as most of her abilities scale with this particular stat.
Jiaoqiu
While there aren't many Nihility characters in Honkai Star Rail whose abilities scale with the Break Effect stat, we have picked Jiaoqiu as he can use this Light Cone’s abilities to some extent.
Since he can place various debuffs on the enemies, making them vulnerable to his allied characters’ attacks, Long Road Leads Home can assist his allies to deal additional harm whenever dealing Weakness Break damage.
The passive 60% BE boost of the LC can seem like a waste for Jiaoqiu. However, it helps him deal a substantial amount of damage whenever breaking an enemy’s toughness bar, boosting his overall value.
Pela
As there are no Nihility units in this turn-based battler from HoYoverse that can use Fugue’s signature Light Cone, Long Road Leads Home, we have chosen Pela. This is because she can use it in an unique way and help her allies deal additional damage. Pela is also mostly used in Acheron hypercarry teams, and can deal a significant amount of damage with her abilities, if built correctly.
Since the “Charring” effect makes an enemy receive additional BE damage for a couple of turns, this Light Cone can prove to be useful on her as it can stack with Pela’s ultimate ability. In activities such as Pure Fiction, an Acheron team—including this 4-star unit wielding Long Road Leads Home—can deal an absurd amount of damage and clear waves of enemies in an instant.
