Wuthering Waves: 5 best characters for Somnoire Anchor as per leaks
The Somnoire Anchor has a fairly high Base ATK at max level 90, along with an additional ATK percent bonus through its secondary stat. This weapon can further boost the wielder's attack from its passive effect, according to which you will gain one stack of Hiss every second as you deal damage. You can have a max of ten stacks, each increasing the equipping character's attack by 2% for three seconds at Syntonization Rank 1. When you have all ten stacks, your Crit Rate will be increased by 6% at Syntonization Rank 1.
It is a decent DPS weapon, but it is important to note that it will be difficult to take full advantage of the weapon's passive, especially against a single enemy, as you will not be able to easily reach max stacks to get the Crit Rate boost since their duration is only for three seconds. However, it could be possible to get all ten stacks when fighting multiple enemies using characters that deal damage quickly in a wide AoE.
Keeping that in mind, below are the top five characters that are well-suited for the Somnoire Anchor sword:
1) Camellya
Kuro Games officially announced through their recent drip-marketing that Camellya will be the exclusive 5-star Resonator in version 1.4 of Wuthering Waves. According to the leaks on Camellya's kit, she is expected to be an on-field Havoc main DPS unit who has swift movements and deals damage quickly in a respectable AoE.
Considering this weapon will be released in the same update as her, it is safe to assume that the Somnoire Anchor will be a great free-to-play 4-star option for Camellya.

2) Changli
Changli is an exceptional 5-star Fusion main and sub-DPS unit. She is agile in her movements and attacks quickly in a sizeable AoE, so when faced with multiple enemies, she can be a great option to utilize this weapon and its buffs. Therefore, this weapon can be a decent option for her as well.
3) Yangyang
Yangyang is a 4-star Aero sword-using Resonator who provides decent crowd control and deals damage in a wide AoE. If the stacks on the weapon's passive are counted individually on separate hits, Yangyang can be a great option to make use of this weapon.
4) Rover
The Spectro and Havoc variations of the Rover have attacks that deal damage in a decent AoE. Although not the best, they can still be a decent option for the Somnoire Anchor, as they can still benefit from the high Base ATK and the additional attack that you get from the weapon.
5) Sanhua
Similar to the Rover, Sanhua has slightly slower-paced attacks than other characters on this list, but she deals damage in a wide AoE. When paired against multiple enemies, she might be able to gain some stacks from the weapon's passive. Nonetheless, Sanhua will also greatly benefit from the respectable amount of attack the weapon provides.
