Best Light Cones to pull in Honkai Star Rail 2.6, ranked
Several Light Cones (LC) are scheduled to be featured during the Honkai Star Rail 2.6 patch. As the update is split into two phases, four LCs will be available, with only one being brand new. Since Acheron, DHIL (Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae), and Aventurine’s banners will be making their appearance during the patch, their Light Cones will be available during the perspective phase.
Since some players tend to focus on the Light Cones more than the characters, many may wonder which ones are the best LC to pull in terms of value. For those Trailblazers, we will be ranking the 5-star Light Cones scheduled to be featured in the Honkai Star Rail 2.6 update.

Ranking all Light Cones that will be featured in Honkai Star Rail 2.6
As announced in the Honkai Star Rail 2.6 special program livestream, four 5-star characters will be featured during the entirety of the upcoming update. Since four 5-star will be featured, as usual, their signature Light Cones will also be available alongside the character banners.
The following section lists all of the 5-star Light Cones solely judged by their value in the current meta of this turn-based gacha title from HoYoverse:
4) Brighter Than the Sun
Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae’s Light Cone, Brighter Than the Sun provides the least value in the current meta. It is a Destruction LC that grants the wielder a little bit of CRIT Rate and ATK, which can be beneficial to some units. However, most meta Destruction units scale with Break Effect which means it's not an LC worth picking up in Honkai Star Rail 2.6.
Moreover, some of the existing Destruction characters can use this Light Cone but will not be as effective when it is equipped on Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae. If you don't have DHIL and are not planning to pull him, it’s recommended that you avoid rolling for this Light Cone and save Stellar Jades.
3) Inherently Unjust Destiny
Right after DHIL’s signature Light Cone, Aventurine’s 5-star LC secures the third spot. While Aventurine is an excellent character in this gacha title, we have decided to rank his LC third, solely because of its low synergy with other Preservation characters. There are a handful of Preservation characters in Honkai Star Rail patch 2.6 and most of their playstyle is not identical to Aventurine.
The 5-star Light Cone Inherently Unjust Destiny’s unique effect grants the wielder a generous amount of CRIT DMG and DEF. However, most units following the Preservation Path cannot utilize the extra CRIT DMG buff from the LC as they all deal negligible damage, unlike Aventurine, who can bestow shields and deal damage simultaneously.
2) Ninjutsu Inscription: Dazzling Evilbreaker
Rappa’s signature Light Cone, Ninjutsu Inscription: Dazzling Evilbreaker is one of the best LCs you can roll during Honkai Star Rail 2.6. Rappa specializes in dealing BE (Break Effect) damage to her enemies, so her LC amplifies that and grants some bonuses that suit her play style.
Since Rappa playstyle is in the meta, many Trailblazers are likely to pull for her. As there are not many Erudition LCs that pair well with a BE DPS unit, we recommended that you pull for this piece of gear. Moreover, when equipped by other characters with the identical Path, it can be quite beneficial for them, especially on Qingque, who primarily specializes in dealing damage with Basic ATK.
1) Along the Passing Shore
Along the Passing Shore is the best Light Cone that you can pull in Honkai Star Rail 2.6. It is Acheron’s BiS LC and can enhance her outgoing damage by a significant margin. Unlike other Nihility DPS characters, Acheron’s abilities scale with ATK, and CRIT stats; therefore, the LC perfectly suits her kit.
When used by other Nihility units, it can still be effective as it can also inflict a debuff on the enemies which significantly boosts how much damage they take. That means characters such as Kafka and Black Swan can easily use this LC without any issues.
If you have Acheron added to your collection, you should be pulling for this LC in Honkai Star Rail 2.6 without any hesitation.
