CM Punk Paid Generously for Inclusion In WWE 2K15

The “best in the world”, CM Punk has finally revealed about his departure from the WWE and has also said about his handsome payment for the inclusion in the video game WWE 2K15. He also revealed that he got fired on his wedding day via a Fed-Ex post. Two days before he was fired, Triple H had called him asking if he could talk.

CM Punk confessed on Colt Cabana's podcast that after he left WWE on 27 January, the company stopped paying his royalty checks for some time. He described that as a "lifetime of money." He had to employ a lawyer to get WWE to agree to his demands. WWE maintained that they withheld his money due to a breach of contract. A settlement between the parties was reached after WWE agreed to release his royalty payments.

So when 2K went ahead and started advertising him on their WWE 2K15, though he was out of the company by that time, they compensated by paying him a "big fat check."

The wrestler’s fans will only be able play see him fight on in the game and this will be last version of the game he’ll be featured on. This will be his last affiliation with WWE. Punk himself said that he did not have any desire to work with WWE again in his life.

You can listen to the whole podcast below. His small comments about WWE 2K15 start at the 1 hour 42 minute mark.
