A big query that many of you might have is if you will need the EA App to play Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The official DA Twitter has confirmed that you don't need the EA App to play Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The game is Steam native and similar to the last few titles published by EA, can be played without the third-party launcher.

Dragon Age The Veilguard also does not have any anti-piracy DRM services like Denuvo which are known to cause performance issues. However, this comes at the cost of you being unable to pre-load Dragon Age The Veilguard on the PC till the game's launch, while both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/ S users have the option to do so. If you are playing on a PC, you will be able to download the game once it is released on October 31, 2024 (9 AM PT/ 12 PM EDT).
