The entire world in Dragon Age The Veilguard is flooded with valuables to collect. If you have a surplus of collected items, you can sell them to receive gold. There are six factions in total. Visit any of the faction camps where you can sell your valuables to faction merchants.
Your reputation with a certain faction will increase if you sell your valuables there. So it is not gold as a reward that will be helpful, but a faction reputation that will impact your game's story to a great extent. Having a good faction reputation in Dragon Age Veilguard will directly impact the type of ending you receive. Selling items will also provide faction strength that unlocks new gear for that particular faction merchant.
Although the faction strength you receive for selling valuables can vary depending on the item you are selling, it mostly provides +3 faction strength.
Location of faction merchants in Dragon Age Veilguard
Faction merchants are indicated by armor on the map. These merchants can be found in the starting area of the below-mentioned regions:
- Grey Wardens: In the Hossberg Wetlands
- Shadow Dragons: In Dock Town
- Antivan Crows: In Treviso
- Veil Jumpers: In Arlathan Forest
- Lords of Fortune: In the Hall of Valor
- Mourn Watch: In Necropolis Halls
The Antivan Crows will not be available in the game for those who save Minrathous during the critical choice — save Minrathous or Treviso. Similarly, for players who chose Treviso, the Shadow Dragons merchant won't be available.
