First things first, you're going to need Taash "The Lord of Fortune" in your party to start For Gold And Glory. If you haven't recruited her yet, now is a good time, as is integral to this mission. Once you've done that, head over to the central room of the Lighthouse and discuss things with her to start the quest.

Travel down the Rivaini Coast— a location you might recognize if you have completed Taash's recruitment quest.

Arena Battle, watch out for Reaver in Dragon Age The Veilguard

Your first true battle is in the arena of the fortress of the Gray Warden. This is home to an infestation of Antaam, a rogue Qunari clan wreaking havoc all over the continent. You'll notice the clan is resistant to electricity-based attacks. In this case, necrotic damage is your best friend, and weapons like Fadelight can be a solution for completing the For Gold And Glory quest.

But the surprise is that halfway through the battle, one of the Antaam soldiers will suddenly turn into a Reaver. If you completed the A Slow Poison side quest in Treviso, you might recognize the image of this enemy. Reavers are like trucks that you cannot block well, and they strike! Let one member of your party entertain it, and you can take care of the rest of the Antaam from a safe distance.

At the end of the battle, head to the southeast side of the arena to find the Crow corpses and a note directing you to your next destination.

Exploring the fortress and fighting deepstalkers

Now follow the quest marker into the fortress. Antaam will battle with a group of deepstalkers as you march. Focus on Antaam—they are significantly deadlier than the deepstalkers and may disrupt the combat if not dealt with.

Continue until you reach the waterfall area. Climb up, then turn left rather than continuing down the main route. Soon you'll uncover a message at the second waterfall that will lead you to the Antaam's leader.

You will eventually find a gate that was not there previously. There is no lever, switch, or anything you can see through that seems to open it up. But once more, Taash is one up on you, with a trick. Two rooms west of the locked gate, you will find a glowing barrel. Hit it with Taash's Ignite power. The wall will go up and open a new passage.

From here, go down the stairs, jump over the stack of wood, and open up this last door at the end. This takes you out onto a raised platform above the gate. Before proceeding, be sure to activate this ladder as a shortcut in case you need to return to this spot. You'll encounter several enemies who will ambush you into a fight. Dispose of them and move forward to the final battle in For Gold and Glory.

The final challenge in the For Gold and Glory quest in Dragon Age The Veilguard is defeating the Antaam leader, Penshanek. Blood Eater is surrounded by Valotaar and a Taaralok. They can roast you in a matter of seconds, and while you see where their flames are going to hit (down the road straight for a way before they open fire), they will track you if you evade, so pay attention.

After disabling his allies, turn your attention to Penshanek. He’s weak to necrotic damage but resistant to electricity, so aim to defeat him swiftly.

Ending quests and rewards in Dragon Age The Veilguard

After killing all the enemies, one of the heroes will notice there's a surviving Antivan Crow in the southeast corner of the arena. You can free her to wrap up the For Gold And Glory quest.
