Dragon Age The Veilguard walkthrough: How to complete the Hall of Valor quest

The Hall of Valor is a quest in Dragon Age The Veilguard that unlocks after Taash is recuited into the roster of your companions. It requires you to fight 10 waves of enemies in a battle of attrition. Upon its completion, you will be rewarded with a unique ring, a good chunk of faction points, and a modest boost to a companion bond.

Start the Hall of Valor quest in Dragon Age The Veilguard by talking to Taash, located at the Lighthouse. Then, travel to the Hall of Valor. Explore the Lower Concourse to unlock its fast travel point. Follow the quest marker, head to the upper balcony, and interact with Isabela, the leader of the Lords of Fortune faction. Accept her challenge.

To complete the Hall of Valor quest, you'll need to finish 10 matches. You'll get a break between each wave to re-organize your party and heal if necessary. Whenever you win, you must return to Isabela and speak to her to progress to the next round.

While these are the basic enemies you'll encounter, with minor variations if you get defeated and restart, there will also be a few large bosses paired with smaller ones at certain points.

In the fifth match, you'll face a big demon and several smaller groups of enemies. Focus on eliminating the smaller foes first while using Taash's ability to keep the demon off of you.

The eighth match pits you against a gigantic Deep-Roads Golem. Its attacks are powerful but slow. Stay on the move and chip away at its health to bring it down without much difficulty.

The final fight in the Hall of Valor will have you battling a group of powerful darkspawn enemies. Have Taash distract the larger enemies while you take out the flying darkspawn first.

Once you complete the Hall of Valor quest in Dragon Age The Veilguard, you will be rewarded with a unique ring called Call of The Hall. This item can provide you with various powerful buffs if integrated correctly into your build:

  • Equipment type: Ring
  • Stats: None
  • Effects: +50% takedown damage and stagger; gain a random advantage buff when you perform a takedown.

Additionally, you will get 100 points (allocated to the Lords of Fortune), a modest brooch appearance, and the Dragon Skull Monument.
