Dragon Age The Veilguard walkthrough: How to complete Hauntings Shadows of Fortune quest

Shadows of Fortune is the fourth quest of the Dragon Age The Veilguard's Hauntings series, where you have to take down several Undead Marauders. The quest is given by Myrna and Vorgoth, the Watchers located at the Necropolis Halls. However, you must travel to a specific location in the Crossroads region to defeat the enemies.

This guide explains how you can complete the Hauntings: Shadows of Fortune quest in Dragon Age The Veilguard.

The Hauntings: Shadows of Fortune quest in Dragon Age The Veilguard only unlocks after you finish a few missions from the Hauntings series. To access it, you must complete Deathly Curiosity, Restless Dreams, and From Beyond. Once this is done, you can track the quest from the Journal tab.

Afterward, teleport to Crossroads and take the Caretaker's boat in the middle to navigate to the other side. Follow the objective markers on your screen to reach the required location: Elvhenan's Haven. If you have unlocked the location earlier, you will see a teleport point next to it.

Once you've arrived at the location for the Shadows of Fortune, you will encounter the Skeleton Crew containing four Undead Marauders. This level 35 mini-boss fight can be quite troublesome, as you must tackle all Undead Marauders at once.

Furthermore, the Skeleton Crew boasts two ranged enemies and two melee enemies. Although one of the ranged enemies is relatively weak, you are advised to defeat them first. With the skeletons wielding substantial shields and formidable abilities, you and your companions must adeptly employ your powers to overcome them.

The Skeleton Crew is vulnerable to Necrotic attacks and is resistant to Cold damage. Keep an eye out for the red circles on the ground, which warn you about their incoming attacks.

After defeating the Skeleton Crew, you will obtain 4 Etheric Remnant and a chest boasting 4 Fade-Touched Silk (Legendary Material). Teleport back to Myrna and Vorgoth at the Necropolis Halls to conclude Hauntings: Shadows of Fortune.

Finishing the quest will also give you rewards, including 250 Mourn Watch Strength and 400 Gold.
