Dragon Age The Veilguard walkthrough: How to complete the Something’s Coming quest

Found in the Hossberg Wetlands, Something's Coming is a quest in Dragon Age The Veilguard which involves players having to destroy the blight eruption and help restore normality. Only after completing the quest Something's Wicked will this quest begin, and once again involves conversing with Evka and Antoine who inform Rook of the troubles caused by the Blight.

Destroying the Blight can prove beneficial, though the path and obstacles en route to it may pose a challenge. Below is a guide on how to complete this quest, and help eradicate some Blight from the world of Thedas.

Once the Something Wicked quest is complete, head to the Hossberg Wetlands and converse with Antoine and Evka, where they will inform Rook about the Blight eruption. Head over to the Inner Courtyard area as designated by the markers on the map.

To a large extent, players have to take the same route followed in the quest Spinning Gold From Grey, except now having to proceed straight from the beacon.

Reach the Inner Courtyard, and many trails of Blight will be visible growing on the ground, heading up walls, and much more. Players will now be asked to destroy five tendrils that are scattered all around the area.

While most can be simply broken from standing in the courtyard's main area, it is suggested to head upstairs to the Ballista and take out the tendrils, and also even some enemies who stand in the way.

Do note that the aforementioned enemies and the ones encountered later are weak to Fire damage. Destroying all five tendrils will weaken the large boil blocking a door, so destroy it and head on through.

Players will now enter an area called the Blight Eruption, where more tendrils and enemies guard the enormous Blight Eruption. Heavy attacks such as Reaper may be useful here, though ensure to use Fire-based attacks.

Defeat all the enemies and destroy the boils by attacking them at their vulnerable point, which is the portion that glows red. Once this is done, a boil blocking the path atop a set of stairs on the right side of the large eruption will now be vulnerable.

Head up the stairs, and when prompted place the Alchemical Flame in front of the Blight. Move back a safe distance, and watch as the enormous Blight is decimated.

Once done, travel to the marker in Sheltered Glade, where Antoine and Evka thank Rook and the party for helping flowers return to the Hossberg Wetlands. Apart from an increase in party member bond, players are rewarded with a Great Axe of Arlathan, 2250 XP, Brona's Bloom Bouquet, and 400 Grey Wardens Strength.
