Dragon Ball Sparking Zero best characters tier list
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero features a massive cast of playable characters that have unique stats as well as abilities and moves. If you are a long-time fan of the Dragon Ball series, then we don't need to remind the massive power gap between characters like Goku, Vegeta, and Mr. Satan, Master Roshi. However, thanks to the balancing in this game, every character is quite effective despite being astronomically underpowered in the canon lore.
However, finding the best characters among all these is quite overwhelming. That's why, to help you find the best among the best, we have made a Dragon Ball Sparking Zero character tier list, consisting of characters that can be considered the best in their respective tier.
Disclaimer: Each tier consists of a handful of characters that are the best in their tier based on the reasons stated below. This article is subjective and reflects the writer's opinion.

Two attack buffs can be stacked, and his Ultimate attack (Dragon Fist) wipes out 2.4 life stocks.
Majin Vegeta
Instant Sparking Mode skill with super blast buff, and his Ultimate (Final Explosion) is destructive but at the cost of his own life.

Instant Sparking Mode skill and powerful Ultimate attack, but low HP and weak Super attacks.

Fast attack speed but held back by low-damage Supers.
D Tier
Mr. Satan
Limited movement, low HP, and weak special attacks. He's more of a joke character with low combat effectiveness.
Videl
Can instantly trigger Sparking Mode and fly, but has low attack damage and HP, making her weak overall.
Master Roshi
Strong defensive abilities and can transform into Max Power form, but cannot fly and is generally weaker than most characters.
Chiaotzu
Paralyzes opponents but his Supers are easy to avoid, and his Ultimate attack damages himself.

In terms of versatility and overall power, these lists have made it very apparent that the fused state of Goku and Vegeta aka Gogeta is the best character in the game. This is quite accurate to the manga and the anime, as even in the other adaptations, whenever things go out of hand, Gogeta comes out to save the day.
