EA FC 25: Personality Tier list explained

EA FC 25 has introduced some new features to the series, one of which is the Personality Tier. This feature comes into play in Player Career Mode and helps in improving your custom character over time by unlocking more Playstyles. For those unaware, Playstyles are unique abilities that bolster a player in different aspects of the game, such as scoring, passing, ball control, defending, physical, and even goalkeeping.

Also available is Playstyle+, an enhanced version of the regular ones. Needless to say, having it in your player's arsenal can be greatly beneficial. With that said, let's take a closer look at the EA FC 25 Personality Tier list.

Personality Tier is a feature in EA FC 25 Player Career Mode. Upon creating a custom player for this mode, you will have to choose an Origin Story that will lay out their back story and decide how they start their journey here.

You will be assigned a Personality Tier depending on which Origin Story you choose. For example, going with the Clean Slate Origin Story in EA FC 25 will have you start at Personality Tier 0.

At this stage, you will only be able to select one Playstyle for your character. As you progress through Personality Tiers, more Playstyle slots will get unlocked.

The image above shows a custom player at Personality Tier 2 with two Playstyle slots available. He is at 4,098 points and needs 7,500 points in total to progress to the next Tier. These points are earned by completing different challenges and activities, a few of which can be seen in the following image.

You will also be able to equip Playstyle+ upon reaching higher Personality Tiers in the game. Prioritize picking EA FC 25 Playstyles that best fit your custom player's most important role on the pitch.

It should also be noted that certain other Origin Stories, such as Great Expectations, Return To Glory, or Climb To The Top, can have you start at higher Personality Tiers. As can be seen in the image at the top, the Great Expectations Origin Story option offers a start at Personality Tier 3.

There is also the Custom Origin Story option that allows you to create a lot of custom settings, even with Personality Tier.
