5 players who were left unhappy with their FIFA 18 rating
The EA Sports FIFA ratings can be brutal. They tend to showcase the best and the worst sides of football and, more often than not, come at the price of a current player. FIFA 18 was no different. While there are bound to be some solemn faces following the monumental ratings reveal, this year felt backlash like never before, even making several top stars hit out on social media over their gross mistreatment in the form of a FIFA 18 player card.
The ratings this year have been fairly interesting and though the usual suspects have reigned supreme, it's slightly down the ladder where a few disappointed faces arise. Clearly, not everyone can achieve a 94 rating like Cristiano Ronaldo, but these players definitely felt that they deserved a bit more for their efforts and were far from adequately represented in this year's annual extravaganza. So without further ado, here are 5 players who were left red-faced with their FIFA 18 rating:
#5 Benjamin Mendy - 78
Benjamin Mendy's FUT 18 stats make for some sorry reading. For all his hard work last season at Monaco, the Frenchman was rated just 78 in FIFA 18 and our sympathies lie with him for that very reason. His 82 pace seems paltry when you consider his intense work rate along the left flank and his physical stats could do with some upgrades as well. The Man City fullback wasn't afraid to let his feelings be known either, and he took to social media in order to vent his frustration over seemingly poor numbers.
That's right, folks at EA Sports. Get yourselves a television.
