Final Fantasy XV demo will have not time limit or trial limit
Square Enix’s latest press release has revealed some more details on the upcoming Final Fantasy XV demo. The demo copy will be included in the first shipment of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, and for a limited time only. This includes both the digital as well as physical copies of Type-0 HD.
According to the press release, the game will come with a Final Fantasy XV demo code, which is redeemable for the FFXV voucher before March 20th, 2016. That is almost a year after the release of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, so enough time for players to redeem their code.
The developer further noted that the demo will not have a time limit, nor a trial limit. This means that users can play the demo as many times as they want to, whenever they want to. However, Square Enix did mention that the game is yours “until you decide to delete if from your”. So players may not have the option of re-downloading the demo again once they have uninstalled it from their console.
Lastly, the press release states that the developers will not force players to uninstall the demo copy. So the demo copy will be yours for keeping, with no trial limits or forced uninstallations. Just remember to redeem the voucher before March 20th and you are good to go.
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is slated to release on 17th March, 2015. Remember to pre-order your copy of the Collector’s Edition if you want the Final Fantasy XV demo.
