5 games coming to Xbox Game Pass

As part of the recent Xbox Partner Preview for October 2024, Microsoft showcased quite a few games, some of which will be making their way to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service. From indie titles to big AAA or AA games, Microsoft's Game Pass is receiving a ton of new options that you will be able to play in the near future.

This article will cover some of the best games from the Xbox Partner Preview which will be making its way to the Game Pass that you should keep an eye out for.

Five games from Xbox Partner Preview (October 2024) that are coming to the Xbox Game Pass

1) Subnautica 2

Subnautica 2 was one of the major announcements of the Xbox Partner Preview 2024 and was confirmed as one of the Game Pass titles. Unknown Worlds Entertainment is set to bring out the sequel to the massively popular Subnautica, promising a bigger world with more alien life forms to discover under the water.

Subnautica 2 will be making its way to the Xbox Game Pass, with early access coming next year in 2025.


2) Eternal Strands

Yellow Brick Games is set to release its debut title, Eternal Strands, which will also make its way to the Xbox Game Pass. The trailer promised a fantasy action-adventure RPG, where you can fight towering monstrosities with the power of elements. As was shown in the promotional video, you can use various elements, like fire to burn your opponents or ice to freeze and stun them.

You will also be able to climb the enemies in Eternal Strands and combine your magical abilities to take them down.


3) Wheel World

The Xbox Partner Preview showcase also had some indie titles that will be making their way to the game pass. Wheel World is a racing title where you must compete with your bicycle. You will be able to customize and improve the performance of your cycle so you can defeat your opponents and become the ultimate racer.

Wheel World is also set to come out on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service when it releases. The developers have not yet put out any release date for the game.


4) Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

Souls-like is definitely one of the most popular categories in the video game industry right now, with success stories like Black Myth Wukong perfectly blending ARPG elements with FromSoftware's souls formula. Chinese game studio Leenzee is also looking forward to capturing the essence that made games like Sekiro or Wukong successful, with its debut title - Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

Announced earlier in 2024, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers piqued many players' interest and the developers finally showcased gameplay of their upcoming title in the Xbox Partner Preview for October. Wuchang will also get an Xbox Game Pass release, likely when it launches in 2025.


5) FBC Firebreak

Remedy Entertainment had a lot to unveil in the Xbox Partner Preview Showcase (October 2024). One of the biggest surprises from the studio behind Alan Wake and Max Payne was the reveal of a brand new multiplayer title that the team has been working on, called FBC Firebreak.

The upcoming co-op shooter is Remedy's first-ever multiplayer title, and it will be included in the Xbox Game Pass when it releases in 2025. The studio has yet to reveal more details about the game, but it is expected that the team will showcase more in the coming days, especially as we get close to the game's release window.
