New Natlan map, Chasca, Ororon, and more announcements expected in the Genshin Impact 5.2 livestream
1) New Characters: Chasca and Ororon
Earlier this month, HoYoverse officially announced Chasca and Ororon as the new characters that will be introduced in the upcoming update through their drip marketing. With the currently available information, Chasca is expected to be a 5-star Anemo character, while Ororon is going to be a 4-star Electro unit.
Players can expect these characters to be officially announced in the 5.2 livestream for Genshin Impact, along with a brief overview of their gameplay and kit.
2) Rerun Banners
According to the leaks via HomDGCat, Lyney, Neuvillette and Zhongli are expected to be the three characters that will get their rerun banners in version 5.2 of Genshin Impact. Lyney will potentially get his banner alongside Chasca in the first phase of version 5.2, whereas Zhongli and Neuvillette are expected to have their banners in the second half of the update.
It is still unclear which phase Ororon will be featured in, so players are advised to wait until the Special Program goes live for further information.
3) New Natlan Region
Based on the recent leaks, a new region located northwest of the Stadium of Flames in Natlan could potentially be introduced in the Genshin Impact 5.2 update. This region will potentially introduce players to the Flower-Feather Clan, which is Chasca and Ifa's tribe.
Fans can expect an official announcement with more details about this new area in the Special Program for version 5.2.

4) New Natlan Event
According to the leaks shared by HomDGCat, the main event in the 5.2 update will potentially be focused on the Natlan region. Characters like Ororon, Citlalib and Leyla are expected to make an appearance during this event. Fans can expect HoYoverse to officially announce this event and all the details around it during the Genshin Impact 5.2 Special Program.
5) New Weapons
Apart from Chasca and the other exclusive banner 5-star characters' signature weapons, recent leaks from reliable sources suggest that three new 4-star weapons will potentially be introduced in the 5.2 update. Among them, the new 4-star sword will be free for all players, as they will likely obtain it from the main event of the upcoming update. The other two weapons, a bow and a catalyst, will be available on the gacha banners.
An official announcement regarding the new weapons can be expected during the 5.2 livestream.
6) New World Boss
According to recent leaks, a new World Boss will be introduced in Natlan in the upcoming update. The possible new boss will reside in the new region that will potentially get introduced, and one of the abilities of this enemy is that it can turn into other boss enemies that the Travelers have faced in the overworld.
The leaks also suggest that the new characters in the upcoming update will require materials from this enemy. Official information on this new boss can be expected in the Genshin Impact 5.2 livestream.
7) Treasure Compass will now detect puzzles and challenges
Among the new quality-of-life changes expected in the Genshin Impact 5.2 patch, recent leaks hint that after the release of the new update, players can potentially locate puzzles and challenges using their Treasure Compass. Earlier, players had to rely on the Interactive Map to locate all the challenges and puzzles, as the Treasure Compass could only locate nearby chests in a short vicinity.
It is important to note that it is still a rumor, so fans should wait for HoYoverse to officially announce this feature in the livestream for version 5.2, along with the other QoL changes in this update.
