Genshin Impact 5.2 livestream reveals new Saurians gameplay

During the Genshin Impact 5.2 livestream, HoYoverse introduced all the new content that players can expect in the upcoming version, including new quests, characters, events, and much more. The Special Program also gave Travelers a glimpse of the two new Saurians (Qucusaurs and Iktomisaurs) and their gameplay mechanics that will be introduced in Genshin Impact 5.2.

Genshin Impact 5.2 new Saurians gameplay

As mentioned above, two new Saurians were introduced in the Special Program for version 5.2 of Genshin Impact. These are named Qucusaur and Iktomisaur, and they are native to the two new tribes that will be introduced in the upcoming update. Their incorporation will bring variety into Genshin's exploration and gameplay mechanics, specifically for the Natlan region.

Keeping that in mind, following is a brief overview of the upcoming Saurians and their gameplay in Genshin Impact 5.2.

Qucusaurs

Qucusaurs are proud creatures that live high up in the mountains with the people of the Flower-Feather Clan, which is also Chasca's tribe. These bird-like creatures that can traverse long distances in the air. Qucusaurs assist the tribe's people and elite special forces in gathering intel and protecting the nation from various dangers.

As one can expect based on this Saurian's appearance, after transforming into a Qucusaur, players will have the ability to fly in the air. They can consume Phlogiston to climb up or perform a horizontal roll while in the air. Additionally, holding down the sprint button will allow players to glide at high speed in the air.

Qucusaurs will also allow players to utilize Phlogiston Wind Tunnels, which can used to shoot oneself up in the air.

Iktomisaurs

Iktomisaurs are wise, owl-like creatures that live peacefully among the Masters of the Night-Wind, which is also Ororon's tribe. These Saurians are known for their wisdom and have a unique sight that can find hidden objects.

Transforming into an Iktomisaur will allow players to use their abilities and locate Phlogiston objects.They can absorb these objects to enhance their abilities, which will allow players to jump higher and have enhanced movement speed.

These Saurians will also give players the ability to absorb nearby graffiti art and create unique objects that will help them solve puzzles and complete various challenges.

These two upcoming Saurians will bring new mechanics that enhance both exploration and puzzle-solving, adding depth to the Natlan region's gameplay experience. They will likely be crucial for uncovering secrets, solving challenges, and engaging with the region's environment in fresh ways.
