A new leak in a Chinese forum suggests that Shenhe might get a rerun in the Genshin Impact 5.3 update. She is a fairly popular character from Liyue who hasn't been featured on a limited banner for quite some time. Since version 5.3 is also expected to feature the next Lantern Rite festival, Shenhe's anticipated rerun makes sense. Additionally, it is speculated that two new 5-star will be released, including the Pyro Arrchon Mavuika.

Genshin Impact 5.3 banner leaks hint at Shenhe's rerun
A user called hfudisdj on a Chinese forum recently leaked the potential Genshin Impact 5.3 banners. According to the source, Shenhe will likely get her long-awaited rerun banner in this version. She is considered the best Cryo support unit in the game and a lot of players have been waiting for her return. Her last and only rerun was back in version 3.5, nearly one and a half years ago.
Assuming the leaks from hfudisdj are true, Travelers can expect Shenhe to get her second rerun banner in the second phase of version 5.3, which will likely be released on January 21, 2025. It is worth highlighting that this leaker is the same person who claimed that Yelan might get a new character skin following which HxG reshared the info on their second Telegram channel.

Here's the expected banner order in the Genshin Impact 5.3 update, as per leaks:
Phase I (January 1, 2025)
- Mavuika (5-star Pyro)
- Xianyun (5-star Anemo)
Phase II (January 21, 2025)
- Citlali (5-star Cryo)
- Shenhe (5-star Cryo)
It is speculated that Mavuika will debut in the first phase of version 5.3 alongside Xianyun who may get her first rerun banner. Needless to say, the former's element is Pyro since she is the Pyro Archon. Furthermore, Mavuika's weapon type is likely to be a Claymore.
The second phase may feature Citlali and Shenhe. The Natlan Archon Quest confirmed that the former has a Cryo vision. Unfortunately, Citlali's weapon type is still unknown but Travelers can look forward to more details soon.
Note that hfudisdj is a user on the Chinese forums who usually shares information on the game, including leaks. However, they don't have a track record to prove their reliability. Thus, readers must take the information with a grain of salt.
