Genshin Impact 5.3 banners: Leaked characters, rerun, and 4-stars

Recent leaks suggest that Genshin Impact version 5.3 may introduce two new 5-star characters to the game. Information from notable leaker, HomDGCat, has provided insight into the banner phases of supposedly upcoming characters Mavuika and Citlali. Additionally, they have also shared details about the reruns and 4-star units speculated to be featured during the patch.

Genshin Impact 5.3 banner schedule leaked

Genshin Impact 5.3 is speculated to go live on January 1, 2024, as per the expected Natlan schedule. Like previous updates, it will consist of two halves offering different character banners. Among the recent flood of leaks following the commencement of the closed beta test, leaker HomDGCat has disclosed the 5-star and 4-star characters that will be offered during the patch.

Here is the expected banner schedule for Genshin Impact 5.3 as per the leaks:

Arlecchino (5-star Pyro, Polearm user)

As mentioned above, the Pyro Archon, Mavuika, and the genius from Masters of the Night-Wind, Citlali, are likely to be featured on the gacha banners during the first half of the update.

When it comes to 5-star reruns, the leaker has suggested that Arlecchino and Clorinde may return to the game for the first time since their debut in v5.3. It is likely both of them will appear on the gacha banners during the second half.

Aside from that, several 4-stars are speculated to appear during the update. It is expected that Chevreuse, Rosaria, Diona, and Bennett will become available at some point.

Moreover, a new 4-star character from Chenyu Vale, named Lan Yan, will debut in the 5.3 update. She is expected to wield the power of the Anemo element in the narrative. It will be fitting to have a character from Liyue debut in the patch as it is expected to celebrate the Lantern Rite festival. However, not much is known about Lan Yan yet as she has not appeared or been hinted at in the storyline.
